RLC 6.9 Hardtail

A race bike through and through - that's the CONWAY "RLC 6.9". With its high-quality equipment, the bike is at home in both World Cup and national races. New is the sensitive FOX "Float" Suspension Fork, which goes through its 100 mm travel like butter.

The geometry, which is completely geared towards propulsion, combines secure directional stability with trail-ready maneuverability, which is already indicated by the short Chain Stays. This makes it ideal for both marathon routes and winding cross-country courses.

Either way, the "RLC 6.9" is made for this terrain, as the 12-speed SHIMANO "XT" drivetrain in combination with the large cassette has a wide range of gears at the ready so that you can climb even the steepest hills and power through one last time on the home straight. The powerful disc brakes (180/160 mm diameter) round off the "XT" groupset on the "RLC 6.9".

The 60 mm wide SCHWALBE "Racing Ray" tires at the front and "Racing Ralph" tires at the rear in Evolution design and Addix rubber compound provide plenty of cushioning on hilly trails. Of course, they also provide a decent amount of grip.

The fact that the developers at CONWAY have put a lot of thought into the "RLC" frame is also evident in many details: they have given the "RLC 6.9" a bump stop to prevent the Handlebar from hitting the top tube. Another nice and clever solution are the screw inserts for attaching the Brake Caliper. If the Brake Caliper is ripped out in a crash, only the inserts need to be replaced - the Brake Caliper can still be used.

In addition, instead of the 27.2 mm seatpost, a lowerable seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm including internal cable routing can just as easily be retrofitted. This is possible with the Reducing Sleeve for the seat tube. The frame is also prepared for the internal routing of "Di2" cables. The service flap under the Bottle Cage helps with car publishing the cables and is a placeholder for "Di2" batteries from SHIMANO drivetrains.
